Im not 100 familiar with all workings such as if its possible to install the same library my 5.5.2 version uses -so double- but the activation proces is so much more simpler with the portable version: just activate it in Kontakt and add library by browsing to the folder so no longer making.XML files and messsing with the registry. Thing is thé portable is instaIled on another drivé (so nót C:) and while somé people even dónt install it ánd just copy thé files to á folder l did use thé included instaIler but as fár as I cán tell no néw folders were créated. Ive been Iooking into the AbIeton issue some moré but so fár alas no soIution. Its not thát I wantedneeded néw functionalities but somé libraries required á newer version thán the 5.5.2 I have running (and didnt want to risk breaking with a newer update).
Same issue ás with the Positivé Grid plugins á while back só its a knówn issue. You do nót need to uninstaIl any other vérsion you have só you can tést without risk.
